Twins get in FREE to the Vancouver Whitecaps match this week

Tributes have been pouring in for Henrik and Daniel Sedin since they announced their retirement plans last week.

The Vancouver Whitecaps, who play their first home match since the announcement this week, are getting in on the action.

If you’re attending the next Whitecaps FC home match, it looks like you’ll be seeing double – and not just from all the beer you might be consuming.

In honour of the Sedins, sets of twins can get into BC Place absolutely free for this Friday’s Whitecaps game against LAFC. Yes, any twins, provided you attend with your sibling.

Here’s the fine print:

Claim your two free tickets by sending proof that you’re a twin to [email protected].

Acceptable proof includes a photo of a valid BC Driver’s Licence or BCID card – from you and your twin.

If your application is successful, you can pick up your tickets at Gate H will call from 5 p.m. onwards on Friday, April 13.

Please note that you must attend the game with your twin!

There’s no word yet on if the Sedins will attend the game themselves, though surely they can afford to pay full price if need be. Although they don’t have jobs anymore so…

The all-time leaders in Canucks scoring are soccer fans, having collaborated with the Whitecaps on a few projects before – including some fun moments in the Sedin vs Sedin series the Canucks ran in 2014.
