For the fifth year in a row, Vancouver Whitecaps FC is doing its part to raise money for mental health.

The Whitecaps are looking to raise $100,000 this year with their #BuckUp for Mental Health fundraiser. The annual campaign supports Covenant House Vancouver and their mental health programs for homeless and at-risk youth.

Fans can donate at the Caps’ next home game against Orlando City SC on June 9, or online through the team website.

You can make a donation, buy a raffle ticket, or bid on unique Whitecaps items (they’ve got everything from team-signed jerseys to getting your photo taken with the starting 11, to taking a ride on the ‘turfboni’) with all proceeds benefiting the cause.

Prizes up for grabs in the raffle include roundtrip flights for two anywhere WestJet flies ($2,900 value) and a Whitecaps suite night, including a $250 food beverage credit ($2,110 value).

And if you donate at the match on June 9, you’ll even be entered to win a pair of 2019 ‘Caps season tickets.

Only 1,600 tickets are available, so your odds of winning are pretty good.

The raffle closes on June 11, with the draw taking place on June 12 at 4 pm.
