And as it turns out, three out of four Canadians who eat beef feel the same way. They believe that when beef is fresh it tastes better, this according to a recent survey commissioned by Wendy’s Canada. Furthermore, 62% of British Columbia beef eaters indicate that it’s very important to purchase Canadian beef.

So, whether you’re hitting up Wreck Beach, chilling out in Stanley Park after cycling on the seawall, or hiking the Quarry Rock trail at Deep Cove, there will be a Wendy’s near you where you can get a fresh taste of Canadian food.

The survey by Wendy’s Canada also revealed that 92% of Canadians think it’s important to purchase local. And that’s exactly what you’ll be doing when you visit Wendy’s.

You’ll get to choose from a slew of different options – like the baconator, a juicy burger. Between two soft toasted buns lies Applewood smoked bacon, two quarter pound beef patties, another layer of freshly-cooked bacon, mayo, ketchup, and cheese.

Of course, there’s always the option to order a simple junior cheeseburger, hamburger, or junior bacon cheeseburger if you’re not quite as hungry.

But if you’re feeling wild, you can opt for a Dave’s double. In true carnivorous style, this burger contains half a pound of fresh Canadian beef, layered with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and more – all sandwiched between two warm buns.
