Richmond man arrested after death at Vancouver wedding

Jun 30 2017, 11:31 pm

The death of a man at a wedding in mid-April has been deemed a homicide, police announced this week.

Now, an arrest has been made in connection with the case.

Around 11:30 pm, on April 15, police and the BC Ambulance Service were called to the Fraserview Hall in South Vancouver after 41-year-old Richmond resident Pardeep “Terry” Dulay was found dead by other party guests.

“It originally appeared that Mr. Dulay had died of natural causes,” said the VPD in a release. “But information collected at the scene showed the victim had been involved in a physical altercation just before his death.”

Richmond resident Aneil Sanghera, 28, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with manslaughter.

This is Vancouver’s tenth homicide of 2017.
