Watch_Dogs Live hack TSN's Off The Record

Thanks to the collective efforts of the Watch_Dogs Live app users, TSN’s Off The Record and RDS’ le [email protected] on the Bell network were hacked on November 28.

A message from the hacker society known as dedsec took over the airwaves and proved that the real power sits with the people.

About Watch_Dogs Live

Watch_Dogs Live gives players the opportunity to become Canada’s ultimate hacker. Using geo-location, Watch_Dogs Live players are able to move through their own Canadian city where they compete to gain control of vulnerable sites. As players gain experience and level up to outwit other hackers, they are given access to more sites to climb the leaderboard.

So far, Watch_Dogs Live has had:

  • Over 168,000 downloads on iOS and Android
  • Over 130,000 active hackers
  • Over 7.3 million total hacks performed
  • 22 new weekly challenges added
  • Over 200 new weekly prizes given away
  • 1 new live stunt added and 3 stunts total for Phase 2

With the completion of Phase 1, Ubisoft awarded grand prize winner Dizzy0321 with a Watch_Dogs-themed 2014 Scion Tc. Phase 2 will kick off with a third live stunt. Further details will be released soon. Crack for Cash and Car Boom were the first two stuns.
