A sweet vegan ice cream pop up is happening in Vancouver this weekend

There’s a sweet pop up happening in Vancouver this weekend and it’s a one-day-only event, so you’re definitely going to want to be there.

The plant-based shindig is going down at TurF in Kitsilano (2041 West 4th Avenue) on July 15. It’s a TurF and Virtuous Pie collaboration which promises some drool-worthy vegan offerings for National Ice Cream Day.

Varieties will include Mermaid Ice Cream, inspired by TurF’s Mermaid Mylk, with spirulina, maca, and vanilla swirl, and the Mermaid Superfood Sundae, made with mermaid ice cream, choco chaga syrup, coconut, cacao nibs, and almond cookie crumble.

Another treat worth heading here for? The Snickers Sundae. Made from handcrafted vanilla ice cream, date caramel, peanuts, almond cookie crumble, and chocolate sauce – all of these varieties will be available from 11:30 am to 4 pm, or while supplies last.
