Smash and grab at downtown Vancouver Versace store during snowstorm

The Versace store located in downtowns luxury zone was seemingly rammed by a vehicle last night.

The front of the store, which is on Thurlow Street, was almost completely destroyed and thieves made off with an undetermined amount of property.

“Shortly before 6 am, police were called to a break and enter at the Versace store located at 747 Thurlow Street,” VPD confirmed to Daily Hive. “‎When Police arrived, they found significant damage to the front of the store. An undetermined amount of property was stolen.”

The damage to the front of the store is significant and the VPD confirmed that it looks like a vehicle was used to gain access to the store.

The investigation is ongoing and there are no further details to share at this time.
