International Pillow Fight Day

  • What: Vancouver will be taking part in International Pillow Fight Day again this year at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 3 pm. In past years, hundreds of Vancouverites have flocked to the City’s downtown core, armed with goose-down and ready to take on fellow pillow-wielding assailants. For everyone’s safety, make sure to use soft pillows only, and swing them lightly. As with any pillow fight, PJs are welcome.

16th Annual Early Years Festival

2nd Annual Richmond Cherry Blossom Festival

  • What: The festival, situated right beside the Fraser River, includes a day full of traditional Japanese music, dance performances, as well as Japanese food and activities. Two stages at the festival will be dedicated to traditional Japanese dance, Taiko drumming, and feature a number of talented musicians. As expected, there will be plenty of space to sit and eat by the cherry blossom trees.

Stand Up For Mental Health 2018 Spring Class Debut

  • What: Founded by award-winning counsellor and stand-up comic David Granirer, Stand Up For Mental Health teaches stand-up comedy to people with mental health issues. This show takes a hilarious look at the lighter side of taking meds, dealing with addictions, seeing counsellors, getting diagnosed, and surviving the mental health system. This show features Granirer, the 2018 spring class, and psychiatrist Judy Allen.

Historic Walking Tours – Hudson’s Bay Company Farm
