Vancouver weather forecast brings winter sunshine and snow

Jan 10 2017, 2:34 am

Good news Vancouver! Today’s winter sunshine is set to stick around for a few days, before the inevitable rain and snow return at the weekend.

According to Environment Canada’s latest forecast, Monday and Tuesday will be a mix of sun, cloud and rain – followed by two straight days of sunny weather.

On Friday, Environment Canada predicts the showers will likely return, with snow overnight, and the rest of the weekend filled with rain and more snow.

Meanwhile, the Weather Network is forecasting mainly sunshine, with no rain or snow until Saturday.

Even better, Accuweather has the rain and snow laying off until Sunday.

And while snow at the weekend is perfectly timed for all you powder hounds heading up to the mountains, there’s more good news for the rest of us too.

After weeks of living below zero, it’s about to get a little warmer! Environment Canada forecasts temperatures are set to rise on Friday to 2°C, reaching a high of 5°C on Sunday.

Positively tropical!
