Fans of Japanese clothing brand UNIQLO will have more places to shop near Vancouver starting this fall.

UNIQLO, the global casual apparel retailer, previously announced it is opening a new location in Metro Vancouver at Coquitlam Centre and it’s set to open to the public on September 14.

Additionally, the retailer is opening three other locations in Ontario in Vaughan Mills, CF Markville and Square One Shopping Centre.

“We’re happy to be bringing LifeWear, thoughtfully created to make everyday life better and more comfortable, to so many new people in Canada through the launch of four new UNIQLO stores,” said Yasuhiro Hayashi, Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO Canada, in a release.

“After much demand from loyal customers, we are especially excited to be opening new stores in Ontario for the first time since our Canadian launch in fall 2016.”

In celebration of these store openings, UNIQLO will be giving away one HEATTECH item to the first 500 customers who make a purchase on opening day at each new store.

In addition, customers will be encouraged to ‘Spin the Wheel’ for the chance to win free items or discounts on select items.

The Coquitlam Centre store follows three store openings since fall 2017, when UNIQLO opened a 20,800 sq. ft. location at Metropolis at Metrotown. Then earlier this year, it opened a 12,800 sq. ft. store at Guildford Town Centre, and an 8,000 sq. ft. store at CF Richmond Centre.

Since opening its first store in Japan in 1984, UNIQLO has grown to become an international leader with over 2,000 stores worldwide.
