Take your mom to VTSL's Mother's Day improv comedy show

How long has it been since you had a good laugh – with your mom?

Well, this Mother’s Day you can make up for any lost time because Vancouver Theatre Sports League (VTSL) is showing a one-time performance of MOM=WOW, a mom-themed show just for her.

Taking place on Sunday, May 14, at The Improv Centre on Duranleau Street, the show will have both you and your mom laughing hysterically, until your sides hurt.

And, tickets cost just $25, meaning you can have a fun day out with your mother dearest that won’t cost you your whole paycheque, which is always a plus.

MOM=WOW is taking to the stage in Vancouver to mark Mother’s Day and also to celebrate moms everywhere, along with all the awesome things they do. You know, like bringing you into the world…that kind of thing.

Join VTSL’s best improv comedians to share many moments of laughter with your mom at the show. There’s no doubt you’ll be entertained throughout the whole show, with the many facets of motherhood featured in diverse short comedic scenes.

You can expect to see improv accounts like ‘Movie Moms,’ ‘Momolution – from new Mom to Grandmom,’ ‘Mom Myths,’ or ‘Mommy Dearest’, plus a wide range of other possibilities that could arise.

But that’s not all.

Just like in all VTSL shows, the stories, characters, and action will be co-developed by you – the audience. So, you and your mom can actually brainstorm some fun ideas and help create some epic on-the-spot comedy.

You can both enjoy the show with a drink if you like by adding $6.75 to the cost of each ticket. So, make it a beer, wine, or even a cocktail- one for you and one for your mom. Who knows, you might come up with some crazy comedy material after a tipple.

One important note to remember is that all minors attending the event must be accompanied by an adult over 19 years of age.
