Just in case you missed it, yes, the Weather Network IS forecasting two more weeks of winter sunshine for Vancouver this month!

The network is predicting ongoing sunshine through December 20, with temperatures hovering around 8°C overall.

It’s the light at the end of the tunnel – after the rainiest November in decades, even Environment Canada agrees we’re finally set to enjoy at least an entire week of sunshine.

According to Environment Canada’s latest forecast, the sun will be out in full force all week, before being joined by a bit of cloud through Sunday.

Temperatures are forecast to peak at 10°C on Wednesday, before heading back to 5°C by the weekend.

Meanwhile, Accuweather predicts the sunshine will last through December 14, albeit with a high of 7°C, rather than 10°C.

Time to head to the beach, anyone?
