Well, that was pretty sweet.

After enduring an unseasonably wet spring, water-logged Vancouverites were more than ready to celebrate the summer solstice and welcome the season to the city on Wednesday evening.

And, as if possessing the ability to sense this, Mother Nature put on one heck of a sunset, while residents basked in the glow and captured the show, late into the evening.
