The Vancouver Police are appealing to the public to locate a special piece of stolen sports gear. The equipment, designed to allow a person in a wheelchair to enjoy the ski slopes, belongs to a 27-year-old Vancouver man. It was stolen from his vehicle parked in the West End between 9:00 p.m. on March 29 and 11:00 a.m. on March 30.

The stolen sit-ski has an aluminium frame with a black basket seat. It has a red strap, grey cushion and a green cat logo.

Anyone with information about the theft or knows the location of the stolen sit-ski is asked to call the Vancouver Police or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
