What if the world ended because of Pokémon GO?

That’s exactly the scenario that’s being imagined by the team behind LIFE OF BRI, a local Vancouver YouTube channel that produced a hilarious parody of the augmented reality phenomenon that’s taking over the world.

“Unless you’ve been living under an Onyx, you’d realize that Pokémon GO is creating hordes of Pokémon trainers lurking at parks and downtown and generally standing around flicking their fingers trying to catch some imaginary Pokémons,” producer Jeremy lee told Daily Hive. “Well, it felt like the world was ending to us so we just made a brand new mini trailer.”

Shot in and around Vancouver, the 98 second trailer imagines a world where Pokémon GO players have taken over the streets like a horde of zombies – a site that will be all too familiar to anyone who has witnessed groups of gamers huddled around their cellphones in Vancouver recently.
