Andrea Stefancikova is an international model and actress who has appeared in numerous movies. Her starring roles in independent features, from the most recent, Real Fiction (2016), Dark Harvest (2016) and Kidnapped in Romania (2016) have put her on the map in the indie film circuit. She starts filming The Arrangement series (E! Network), created by Jonathan Abrahams (Mad Men) in a few months. Watch out for her special appearance in the Canadian drama Below Her Mouth, directed by April Mullen, which will make history in Canadian cinema as the first all-female crew film.
Andrea was born in Bratislava, at the time in a communist Czechoslovakia, now the capital of Slovakia, and immigrated to Vancouver in 1998 with her parents, brother and dog.
Growing up in a family of artists, she has been immersed in the creative world since a very young age. She danced, played piano, took painting classes, sang in the choir, but her deepest passion is acting and writing. Perhaps it was the influence of her publisher parents, but Andrea always had stories to tell, something to share with the world. Her poem Garbage was published in 2005.
As a diarist and a savvy observer of the human condition, Andrea has an unleashed tongue and speaks the uneasy, unsparing truth in her controversial memoir, which will be available online and at Chapters/Indigo later this year, and is already optioned for film/TV by a veteran Canadian film producer, Robert Lantos of Serendipity Point Films. Andrea stays grounded by practicing yoga, meditation, dance and exercising almost daily. Because of Andrea’s globetrotting lifestyle, she is fluent in English, Slovak, Italian, Czech and understands Spanish, French and German. She loves animals, nature, arts and people.
