Amanda is a commercial dancer from Vancouver who discovered her love for the performing arts at a young age of four years old. She has been moving and grooving and modelling ever since.
Her passion for the stage was structured from training in competitive hip hop and musical theatre in Richmond and Vancouver then later found a love for Street jazz, Burlesque and teaching. She now teaches at various centres across Richmond including the dance and fitness studio called PUR Movement.
Amanda has worked with various artists including pop sensation Elise Estrada, the EC twins, and Bollywood celebrity Jazzy B.
She dedicates her busy schedule to her family, friends and her full time career in community services/recreation for the City of Richmond and of course dancing and teaching.
She is a proud member of an all woman entertainment group called La Chaleur created by the group’s manager and owner of PUR Movement, Stephanie Sy.
Amanda hopes to continue to groove and teach for many years and is excited for the future. Not only does she love the stage, but also loves to be active through hiking, yoga, running and being outdoors. This girl loves to eat. She’s a chocoholic and animal lover at heart.
One of her favourite quotes to live by is: ” Be open, be positive, be you”.
