With little more than a year in the industry, Brenda Treviño has managed to pull together a remarkably diverse portfolio. Originally from Monterey, Mexico, the Victoria based model is a driven top sales rep with a business degree and works for a local company whose mission is to trade fairly and directly with small-scale producers in developing countries.
Brenda never thought of the possibility of modeling. She was born with a skin condition called keloids, which left her with scars on her body due to several emergency surgeries. She also struggled with being overweight, which added to her list of insecurities. As she matured, she worked through these insecurities, and learned to focus on her strengths. She was lucky enough to meet talented photographers who were able to see and capture the best of her.
Brenda loves to see how she can be transformed by the creative work of talented photographers, hair stylists, and make up artists. She feels grateful to be surrounded by such skill and artistry and recognizes that none of it can be done alone. Brenda hopes to get involved in commercial/catalog modeling and thinks of this industry as a big market where every model can find their niche regardless of age, ethnicity, or size.
No doubt I could see her on the cover of Lowrider Magazine in the near future.
