Dust off your skates.
The City of Vancouver is offering free admission at eight rinks this weekend to celebrate the start of skating season.
If you want it to be truly free, however, you’ll have to supply your own skates as rentals aren’t included and helmets are supplied on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The free skates are staggered across two days, with some rinks waiving admission on Saturday, October 8 and others on Sunday, October 9.
