A man is dead after what the Vancouver Police Department is calling a dispute or altercation that spilled into the streets at a nearby rooming house.
At 3:30 a.m., police were called to Station Street near National Avenue where they found a man unconscious and covered in blood. He was rushed to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police are keeping mum on the nature of his injuries.
The VPD said in a statement that they have several people of interest in custody and are in the process of interviewing all of them.
Police have yet to identify the victim. They are investigating the circumstances leading up to his death.
