Santa and his sleigh may have already come and gone, but there are still a few things going on around Vancouver this week where you can eat, drink, and be merry. Besides, you’ll want to get your naughty eating in before New Year’s Day and your new resolutions kick in.

In addition to seeing movies and eating Chinese food, and a few kinds of New Year’s Eve dinners, here are more food events happening the week of December 26, 2016 to January 1, 2017 to check out.

December Holiday High Tea at Secret Garden

Through the month of December, Secret Garden has switched up their regular High Tea service to a special Holiday High Tea menu offering special seasonal treats, like Festive Upside Down Cranberry Cake with Orange Chantilly and Noel Sugar Plum. High Tea Seatings are seven days a week at noon, 2:15 pm, and 4:30 pm. Reservations are strongly suggested.

When: Afternoons in December
Where: Secret Garden Tea Company – 2138 West 40th, Vancouver

Half-Priced Cocktails at The Emerald

The Emerald Supper Club and Cocktail Lounge is keeping a festive glow on through the holidays with half-priced cocktails offered from Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30. All of their classic and signature cocktails (including winter cocktails) will be 50% off, and the fun venue is open from 5 to 10 pm on those nights, making for an ideal spot for a pre- or post-dinner drink or get-together with friends.

When: December 27 through 30, 5 to 10 pm
Where: The Emerald – 555 Gore Avenue, Vancouver

The Cabin pop-up at Four Seasons Whistler

Hanna McLean/Daily Hive

If you are among the many Vancouverite revellers hanging out a bit further up north off Highway 99, The Cabin pop-up at the Four Seasons Whistler will make for a tasty and intimate apres-ski spot. Located on the lower level of the hotel and resort, the pop-up’s decor was outfitted by HBC and inspired by the brand’s heritage as a 400-year-old Canadian icon. The menu, too, reflects an elegant tapas-style take on Canadiana using Canadian ingredients.

When: Now through January 8 from 5 to 10 pm (Closed New Year’s Eve)
Where: Four Seasons Whistler – 4591 Blackcomb Way, Whistler

New Year’s Medieval Feastival at Storm Crow Tavern

Get ready to ring in 2017 like a King or Queen. Eat and drink a royal spread at Storm Crow Tavern’s Medieval Feastival. Choose from a meat- or veg-friendly menu with beer or wine pairings, and three levels of packages ($100, $150, and $200) that offer different perks.

When: December 31, 6 to 11 pm
Where: The Storm Crow Tavern – 1305 Commercial Drive, Vancouver
Tickets: $100/$150/$200 available online
