Black Bamboo Pop-Up Cocktail Bar

The Black Bamboo Pop-Up Cocktail Bar at 1219 Granville Street is officially open from now until September 30, running every Friday and Saturday from 8 pm to 11 pm. You can make reservations up to two weeks in advance for this intimate, tropical-themed room which comes complete with live music, entertainment, champagne, and fresh cold-pressed juice cocktails. Patrons can expect something different on any given night, including rotating music themes like funk, hip hop, disco, and 90s jams.

Rosé All Day Brunch at Market by Jean-Georges

Aimed at those who like to savour and sip their way through the weekend midday meal, “Rosé All Day” features a sexy new menu of contemporary riffs on brunch classics, along with oodles of rosé. Look for everything from a cool Rosé Spritzer (Kim Crawford Rose, Simple Syrup, Strawberries, Lemon, Club Soda) to a very Instagrammable Rosé Popsicle (House Made Popsicle with Ruffino Sparkling Rosé).

Le Burger Week Vancouver

Le Burger Week Vancouver is going down this year from September 1 to September 7, so block off your calendar and get out those stretchy pants. This year there are nine venues taking part in Le Burger Week Vancouver including the Bellaggio Cafe, Mamie Taylor’s, and ShuRaku Sake Bar + Bistro. Le Burger Week invites the public to head into participating restaurants (or order via Skip The Dishes, if the establishment offers it) and vote online for their favourite burger. Each restaurant will be offering a special “burger price” for participants to get in on so they can try them all.

Sunday Seafood Boil Series at Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar

Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar brought back their annual Sunday Seafood Boil Series returns for a third consecutive year–and it wraps up on September 3. Limited to just 24 seats at each event, enjoy best fresh-caught selections of crawfish, jumbo prawns, clams, mussels and Dungeness crab, served in a traditional East Coast-style seafood boil piled high on butcher’s paper.

Canada 150 Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s current afternoon tea is Canadian-themed, and features cool vintage Canadian travel decor, custom tea blends, a tiered “tower” of savoury nibbles inspired by different regions in our nation, and a delicious spread of Canadian desserts.

Beer-unch at Craft Beer Fest at the PNE
