The 37th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival presents some of the world’s finest traditional and contemporary folk, world and roots music artists in the urban seaside beauty of Jericho Beach Park. Around 60 music acts will perform on multiple day and evening stages, including Joan Baez, Amos Lee, Andrew Bird and the Hands of Glory, Nigeria’s Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, Great Lake Swimmers, Alejandro Escovedo and the Sensitive Boys, Ozomatli, Josh White Jr., and Mary Lambert.

A wide range of food vendors, artisan markets, a community village and Little Folks Area are all special features of the festival that prides itself on its environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives. Around 1400 volunteers help to make the festival a success as it welcomes between 38,000 and 40,000 people to the park each year.
