I Can’t Remember the Word for I Can’t Remember
- What: Tara Cheyenne’s new dance-theatre piece is all about memory – the things we remember and the things we forget. A show about women, maturity and what it means not to be a 25-year-old-stick-figure dancer, what it means to dance when you’re over 40, the beautiful difficulty of ageing. Part stand up comedy, part dance, all inspiring.

Restaurants for Change – Burdock & C0.
Burdock & Co.
- What: Now in its fifth year, the national fundraising initiative benefits Community Food Centres Canada in supporting community food programs that “bring people together to grow, cook, share, and advocate for good food for all.” Funds raised from the annual event will directly support low-income Canadians in more than 10 communities. All diners have to do is make a reservation on the night of October 17 at Vancouver’s only participating restaurant, Burdock & Co.

Stage 43 presents M*A*S*H
- What: Step back in time to 1909 as you explore Mackin House in an immersive way. Join the heritage performers as they give demonstrations, tell stories and share traditions throughout the different rooms in Mackin House. Enjoy the Celtic sounds of Black Sheep, then make crafts, watch baking demonstrations, and participate in interactive activities for all ages.

Origo Club ‘Champagne Barons De Rothschild’ Dinner
- What: Guests will get a taste of Origo Club’s exclusive selection of Champagne Barons de Rothschild when the restaurant hosts a very special evening of food and wine. Chef David Pan’s seven-course menu of huîtres, pétoncles, salade d’automne, morue charbonnière, canard, crémeux au chocolat and charcuteries et fromages will be paired with Champagne Barons de Rothschild Brut, Extra Brut, Blanc de Blancs, Rosé and 2008 Blanc de Blancs.
