VanCAF 2017 – The Vancouver Comic Arts Festival

  • What: VanCAF is a two-day celebration of comics and graphic novels and their creators, including an exhibition and vendor fair featuring hundreds of creators from around the world. Other Festival events include readings, panels and workshops.

SPRVNG EDM

  • What: The Rickshaw has compiled a line up of Top DJs to kick up the bass with some added PK Sound equipment and a massive lightshow. SPRVNG EDM is in collaboration with the U.C.A.S.S sound crew, Jonas Love Events, SBR CRTL, Madd Jamm Productions, and GQ Production.

The day will end with an evening/indoor panel discussion.

It’s inspired by the street football Neymar Jr himself grew up playing. At the end of the day, the winning team will earn a spot to play at the Canadian National Finals in Vancouver.

Engine 374/#YaletownHeartsCanada

  • What: A free family festival centred around Engine 374, the engine that pulled the first transcontinental train into Vancouver on May 23, 1887 and sealed the deal for British Columbia joining Canada.
