Whose Live Anyway?

  • What: Whose Live Anyway? features Ryan Stiles along with fellow comics Greg Proops, Jeff Davis and Joel Murray. Together, they perform many of the hilarious games made famous on their Emmy-nominated TV series, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which aired from 1998 to 2004 and returned to the airwaves in 2013.

Ninth Floor

  • What: Ninth Floor tells the story of how a peaceful student protest against Professor Perry Anderson’s allegedly racist behaviour escalated into the infamous Sir George Williams Riot of 1969. Told through interviews with survivors and newsreel footage and audio recordings. Filmmaker Selwyn Jacobs will be available after the film for a moderated Q&A.

The Death and Life of the Single-Family House

  • What: Nathanael Lauster, Professor of Sociology at UBC, has studied the city’s dramatic transformation to curb sprawl. He tracks the history of housing and interviews residents about the cultural importance of the house as well as the urban problems it once appeared to solve.
