10th Annual Richmond Garlic Fest

  • What: Chefs from a number of restaurants in Richmond and Vancouver will be volunteering their time to bring festival-goers a selection of garlic-based delights, including garlic ice cream – a must try for any garlic lover. Other event highlights include an expanded Farmers’ Market, a “kids’ zone” with tons of farm and nature-themed activities, growing garlic workshops, live music, farm tours, live bird of prey flying demonstrations, and more.

Come Try Ringette

  • What: Join the Surrey White Rock Ringette Association for a free day at the rink trying out ringette. All you need to participate is some warm clothes and a pair of gloves. If you have your own skates or helmet, please bring these with you. If not, helmet and skates will be available.

Araxi Longtable Dinner Series

Downtown Port Coquitlam Car Show

Vines Art Festival 2018

  • What: The fourth-annual multidisciplinary eco-arts celebration, Vines Art Festival, will be taking place at various parks throughout Vancouver. More than 70 performing and visual artists are set to perform, including Kimmortal (a diasporic first generation settler-based on unsurrendered Coast Salish Territories), Katie Cassady (dancer and choreographer from TWObigsteps Collective & Donald Sales/Project 20), Rabbit Richards (a New York-born, Montreal-bred, performance poet), and musicians an̓usáyum̓ (two Indigenous artists from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation, singing their own contemporary western music and Coast Salish traditional singing).

Rumors – A Comedic Farce by Neil Simon

When the party first guests arrive, they find Charlie passed out upstairs with a bullet hole in his earlobe, and Myra is nowhere to be seen. Hilarity ensues.
