BREAKOUT Festival 2018

Migos

  • What: Migos and Tory Lanez are headlining Vancouver’s first-ever outdoor hip-hop and R&B music festival. BREAKOUT Festival promises a stacked lineup that includes international artists alongside Vancouver’s rising talent.
  • When: Saturday, June 9 and Sunday, June 10, 2018
  • Time: 2 pm, with a 10 pm curfew

Surrey Doors Open

  • What: Surrey Doors Open is a free event for all ages providing a unique opportunity for Surrey residents and visitors to experience the cities rich culture, history, art and architecture. Explore 30 different venues in Whalley, Cloverdale, Newton, and South Surrey. The venues will feature a mix of historic sites, modern architecture, public art and green spaces.

  • Time: 11 am to 4 pm
  • Where: Venues across Surrey
  • Admission: Free. Some venues may offer additional experiences or goods for a fee.

Urban Shift

  • What: Urban Shift explores two perspectives on the Vancouver urban landscape. The works are shaped by personal relationships to the city, and expressed through manipulated photographic images and painting. Featuring the works of Carolina de la Cajiga and Martha Jablonski-Jones, and is hosted and organized by the Burnaby Arts Council.
  • When: Saturday, June 9 to Saturday, June 30, 2018

Seniors Week – Over 90s Tea and Celebration

  • What: Celebrate Richmond seniors 90 years of age and over with an afternoon of socializing and recognition of these special Richmond citizens. Caregivers welcome.

EMBRVCE SATURDAYS: A Night Dedicated To Fortnite

  • What: Drop down at Vaulted Venue and stock up on Slurp Juice on special all night at VENUE’s Fortnite Theme Party. Featuring resident DJs Rashad Rawkus, Grayson Repp, and J-traxx –  dressing up is strongly encouraged.

Paintbucket Presents: Baby’s First Easel

STRUT 2018 Walkathon

  • What: Get on your highest pair of heels and be prepared to strut all for a good cause supporting LGBTQ asylum seekers and refugees. STRUT is an annual walkathon that raises funds for Foundation of Hope’s (FOH) commitment to support LGBTQ newcomers to Canada.
