  • What: The 5K Foam Fest boasts 22 of some of the best and most exciting obstacles in the world including the worlds largest inflatable waterslide, slip and slides, and mucky mud pits. Combine these obstacles with 2.5 million cubic feet of foam, live DJs and a vendor village, and chances are you’ll be enjoying an epic summer day. The family fun event supports the Make A Wish Foundation.

Tom Jones

  • What: The iconic singer behind hits such as “Delilah”, “Sex Bomb”, and “Green Green Grass of Home” is set to play the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on June 2. Tom Jones’ 50-year career has remarkably gone from strength-to-strength. Along with sustaining his popularity as a live performer and recording artist for five decades, he has garnered – at the age of 77 – the best reviews of his career for his most recent albums.

Day of The Honeybee

These destinations include heritage sites, museums, places of worship, green spaces, specialty business, art galleries and artist studios.

Out On Screen 30th Birthday Party

  • What: Out On Screen turns 30 and is celebrating with a community birthday party. A party for the LGBT2Q+ community and allies at the Imperial on Main Street will pay tribute to the last three decades of uplifting queer stories at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival. Featuring performances by Maiden China, Shay Dior, and Indigenous burlesque troupe Virago Nation.

Vancouver Craft Beer Week Festival 2018

Beer/Vancouver Craft Beer Week

  • What: Beer and cider lovers are invited to come to the PNE Fairgrounds on June 2 and 3 for the 9th annual year of good times, filled with music, food, art, and of course, tons of craft beer. For 2018 festival-goers can expect 100+ craft breweries and cideries (pouring 300+ beverages), live music, buskers, and more food trucks and washrooms. This festival caps off the 10-day citywide celebration which runs from May 25 to June 3.

Public Disco at Alley Oop

  • What: The Public Disco is all about creating a fun, and inclusive environment. This colourful event will feature DJ sets from Niña Mendoza, Neighbour, Wabi Sladi, and Ryan Wells. There will be a glitter station so you can jazz up your outfit or use some sparkly facepaint to get into party mode. Kids are welcome to join, as the event will feature games and toys to keep the little ones busy (if they need a dance break).
