Burnaby Roots & Blues Festival 2018

  • What: Mixing folk and Americana to rock & roll and vintage rhythm & blues, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats headline this year’s performance. The family-friendly festival will also feature performances by The Rural Alberta Advantage, Nikki Lane, The Suffers, Begonia, and Amythyst Kiah.

Vancouver’s Largest Water Fight 2018

  • What: Pull out those Super Soakers and stock up on water balloons as the Vancouver Waterfight is coming back for another year. The annual event is returning for its eleventh consecutive year. Hosted by Flash Mob Vancouver, the water fight sees hundreds of Vancouverites take to the Lumberman’s Arch at Stanley Park.

Vancouver Mural Festival Park Show

  • What: Organizers of Vancouver Mural Festival have partnered with Live Nation Canada to stage a major outdoor ‘Celebration Concert’ event dubbed The Park Show, on the festival’s final day. Featuring A Tribe Called Red, Charlotte Day Wilson, and guests.

Movies Under the Stars – Coco

  • What: Movies Under the Stars brings free outdoor films to Holland Park. Gather your blankets and lawn chairs and cozy up in front of a big screen for Coco. Movies start after dusk but attendees are encouraged to arrive earlier to find a good seat and to enjoy the pre-show entertainment. Starting at 5 pm, there will be fun activities before the movie begins.

Farm Fest at Garden City Lands

Clover Valley Beer Festival

  • What: The Philosopher Kings will be headlining Coquitlam’s free Kaleidoscope Arts Festival, which will take place on August 11, at Town Centre Park. The free event returns to Coquitlam for the third year offering a full day of activities, artisans, and entertainment. This year’s event will feature two stages including concerts by pop singer Mathew V and high-energy violinist Kytami. Food trucks will be on site cooking up some delicious bites and don’t forget to check out the craft beer scene.
