Make the most of the first Saturday of April with our rundown of 10 fun events happening in Vancouver today, April 7. International Pillow Fight Day, Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, and more are all going down, don’t miss out.

International Pillow Fight Day

  • What: Vancouver will be taking part in International Pillow Fight Day again this year at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 3 pm. In past years, hundreds of Vancouverites have flocked to the City’s downtown core, armed with goose-down and ready to take on fellow pillow-wielding assailants. For everyone’s safety, make sure to use soft pillows only, and swing them lightly. As with any pillow fight, PJs are welcome.

16th Annual Early Years Festival

  • What: Kids can participate in fun activities while parents or caregivers learn about community resources for young children. Free activities include interactive games, performances, arts & crafts, play areas, a bouncy castle, face painting, demos and more.

Laughing Matters 3.0

Graham Clark

  • What: A comedy fundraiser for the Gaby Davis Foundation. Featuring Graham Clark, MC John Cullen, Kyle Bottom, and Katie-Ellen Humphries.

Chefs in the Hood

  • What: Chefs in the Hood is a pop-up food phenomenon, bringing together the best of Vancouver’s culinary talent in a collaborative dinner event. Includes a six-course reception style dinner and welcome cocktail. Live music and entertainment will be going on throughout the evening, and beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Birding by Ear
