2016 PuSh Festival Launch Party

  • What: Monday, November 9th the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival will announce its 2016 Festival programming with a launch party at The Fox Cabaret. The 12th annual PuSh Festival takes place January 19 to February 7, 2016 in venues across Vancouver. Artistic and Executive Director Norman Armour will unveil the full 2016 PuSh Festival programming and artist lineup.

Russell Peters

  • What: Canadian comedian Russell Peters brings his racially-charged comedy tour to the Hard Rock Casino and River Rock Casino for multiple shows this month.

Eight and a Half Inches of Comedy

  • What: Every Monday hosts Devin Alexander and Alex Sparling throw a stand-up comedy show featuring the best local comedians Vancouver has to offer and major touring headliners from around the world.

Joe Fortes Anniversary Gala

  • What: This November Joe Fortes turns 30. To celebrate Vancouver’s beloved seafood and chop house is throwing an anniversary gala. Guests are encouraged to don their finest cocktail attire and join in the celebration. Highlights of the evening include fresh oysters, gourmet canapes, local wine and beer, entertainment, and a live auction.

Vancouver Improv Fight Club: UBC Improv versus TWU’s 11:07

A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator

Circle Craft Christmas Market

  • What: The 42nd Annual Circle Craft Christmas Market will showcase jewellers, wood-turners, glassblowers, sculptors and potters, clothing and many more artisan artists, just in time for Christmas shopping.

Attend a Remembrance Day ceremony

  • What: There are 28 Remembrance Day ceremonies happening across Metro Vancouver this Wednesday held in honour of our past and present veterans. Show your appreciation for the men and women who bravely served Canada by wearing a poppy and observing a moment of silence at 11:11 a.m.

Cirque du Soleil presents KOOZA

  • What: KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: It combines two circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.

Workshop: Rangoli Making

  • What: Workshops for Diwali take place at various community centres across Metro Vancouver and feature instructions on how to learn rangoli design, diya lamp painting, Bollywood dancing, sari wrapping, rangoli, and mehndi hand painting.
