  • What: Zumba at Canada Place is a fun, free event hosted on the beautiful North Point of Canada Place. Lively and expert instructors provide participants with the opportunity to practice Zumba – no dance experience or partner needed.

League of Extraordinary Women: In Conversation

Ensemble Theatre Company Presents: Dark Road

Walking Club – Langley City

  • What: A recreational walking group for a social walk around Langley. No pre-registration necessary, just show up with your walking gear and a positive attitude. Pets are welcome but some of the trails may not be suitable for strollers and scooters. The group walks rain or shine so dress for the weather.

Kits in the Park

  • What: Kits in the park is a free play-based program in Connaught Park, running on Monday and Friday mornings throughout the summer. Featuring playground, crafts, songs and stories, and perfect for families with young children. No registration necessary, this program is co-operatively presented by Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, West Side Family Place, and Kitsilano Community Centre.

Mineral Mondays at Britannia Mine Museum

  • What: Get up close and personal with minerals on Mineral Mondays this summer at Britannia Mine Museum. Check out minerals from the museum’s collections and learn how geoscientists do simple tests to identify them. Suitable for ages 5+.
