The last Friday of March is here, and it’s full of fun events around the city! From An Evening with Kevin Smith to Seasons 2018 Festival, here are seven events to check out in Vancouver today, March 30.

An Evening with Kevin Smith

  • What: An Evening with Kevin Smith is a chance to get up close and personal with the legendary writer, comedian, podcaster, and film director. Proceeds from this event go directly towards supporting the #SavetheRio campaign.

Seasons 2018 Festival

  • What: Seasons fills Vancouver with concerts, club shows, label showcases, demos, panels, lectures, and interactive visuals & art installations, culminating in a fully immersive, 2 day main event at Pacific Coliseum.

VanDusen Botanical Garden’s Great A-Mazing Egg Hunt

  • What: Take part in the Annual A-Maze-ing Egg Hunt at VanDusen Botanical Garden. Afterwards, enjoy some fun crafts and activities or check out the yummy food selections and explore the beauty in our 55 acre garden.
  • When: Friday, March 30 to Sunday, April 1, 2018
  • Time: Four sessions daily: 9 am to 10 am, 10 am to 11 am, 11 am to 12 pm, and 12 pm to 1 pm

Easter at the Cannery

  • What: The Easter Salmon makes its annual return this year to hide eggs for the little ones to find throughout the historic cannery. At 10:30 am, The Great Salmon “Egg” Hunt will start and repeat every 30 minutes throughout the day with the last egg hunt at 4:30 pm. There will also be Easter crafts, games and an interactive story-time suitable for kids ages 2 to 12 years old.

Fraser Valley Comedy Competition

  • What: Twelve comics battle it out in the monthly comedy contest. Comics are judged by audience applause, with a sound meter decibel reader available for close calls.

Plenty Warehouse Sale 2018
