You can buy this Vancouver condo for 'just' 67 bitcoins
Don’t have $1 million? Don’t worry. Because if you’ve been busy mining bitcoins, you could apparently just buy a condo in Vancouver anyway.
This studio condo is for sale on the Bitcoin Real Estate website, which calls itself “a worldwide Bitcoin Real Estate listings company.”
If you’re willing to take a chance – and you have 67 bitcoins saved up – then this little home in Marpole could be yours.
According to the listing, the studio has large windows and a glass sliding door balcony, plus a glass-enclosed office space that could be converted into a bedroom.
So, it’s pretty small, it’s a little far out of downtown, but at least it’s only 67 bitcoin, right?
Well, damn, it turns out you do still need $1 million, even if you’re buying in bitcoin. It may not sound a lot, but 67 bitcoins is actually worth a cool $1.15 million. Of course.
