Rise of the Comics Live TV Shoot

  • What: Rise of the Comics is a half hour TV show dedicated to stand-up comedy, including trying to understand what makes the comics tick. The live tv shoot features headliner Patrick Maliha, Ed Konyha, Julia Stretch and more. Hosted by Scotty Aceman.
  • Where: Manchester Public Eatery – 1941 West Broadway, Vancouver

Slinky Hell by Jacob Samuel Book Launch

  • What: Vancouver comedian and cartoonist Jacob Samuel launches his latest book featuring 200 of his best cartoons from the last three years. Jacob’s cartoons have been featured in The New Yorker and Harvard Business Review.
  • Where: The Kino – 3456 Cambie Street, Vancouver
  • When: May 29 at 7 pm

Old Crow Comedy Sho.

  • What: Megan Milton and friends perform at New West’s newest comedy show. Featuring headliner Amber Harper Young, San Aung, Morris Bartlett, Andrew Ryan Fox, Nikki Sirett, Jo-el Oxales, Elizabeth Ettles and piano by Paul Fenz.
  • Where: Old Crow Coffee Co. – 655 Front Street, New Westminster
  • When: May 29 at 8:30 pm

Union Jacked presents Company’s Coming

  • What: Union Jacked is Jeff Cooper, Laurence Chong, Chris Wood, Beth Rudkin, and Rachelle Lachland. The comedy troupe presents an evening of improv with special guests Channel 73 ¾ and music by singer-songwriter Jess Vaira.

Mark Forward

  • What: A multi Canadian Comedy Award winner, Mark currently can be seen on the latest season on Fargo on FX, and CraveTV’s Letterkenny.
