Chilliwack Mirror – Episode One

  • What: In the first episode of this three-part anthology mini-series, Grad School Improv takes on the hit show Black Mirror to present standalone episodes of psychological, satirical, and modern science fiction.

VABF Social Club: Comedy Special Fundraiser

  • What: Support the 2017 Vancouver Art Book Fair while sharing drinks and gags with some of Vancouver’s funniest comedians. Featuring Cameron Macleod, Jacob Samuel, Aaron Charles Read, Fraz Wiest, Carla Mah, Kelli Ogmundson and Nima Gholamipour. Also includes a DJ set by DJ set by Cherchez La Femme.

The Gloria and Grenda Show!

  • What: Veteran Broadway chorus girls Gloria and Grenda may be over the hill, but they are running down the other side. Spunky, blunt, and probably alcoholic, Gloria and Grenda bring us back to Broadway with an overpriced cabaret brimming with song, dance and love! Find out why these leggy ladies are legends in laughter, love, and litigation.

MIXTAPE – Your first mix

  • What: The Hero Show presents a brand new show that brings comedy and music together into a strange hybrid alien baby show. Comedians will have the opportunity to showcase weird and wonderful ideas that are fully music-centric. Featuring
    Kyle Fines, Jenn Bojmj and Colin Edward Cowan, The Ryan and Amy Show and more.

Ali Wong

  • What: With the recent release of her Netflix Special, Ali Wong: Baby Cobra, Ali became the first comedian to record a stand up special while seven months pregnant. Ali co-stars in the new ABC comedy American Housewife, premiering this fall.
