Gina Brillon

What: Actress, comedian, and writer Gina Brillon was born and raised in Bronx, New York. She’s been a standup comic since she was 17 years old, and has made appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately, AXS’ Gotham Comedy Live, The View, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Gina is the first Latina winner of NBC’s 2012 Stand up for Diversity Showcase.

Sebastian Maniscalco

What: Just for Laughs’ Stand Up Comedian of the Year (2016) Sebastian Maniscalco is coming to Vancouver as part of his new tour, Stay Hungry. He will be reflecting on his path and all of the hard work it has taken to get to this point in his career as well as his new role as a dad.

God is a Scottish Drag Queen: A Christmas Special

What: God, dressed in a floral power suit, comes down to skewer everything from fruitcake to Boxing Day in an all new and holiday special. Featuring an opening act performing all of the holiday favourites. Performed by Mike Delamont.

Vancouver International Puppet Festival’s Triple XXXmas Cabaret

What: Triple XXXmas Calabret is hosted by Phantom Signal’s Jayson McDonald and features performances by the Murderous Mindy the Mermaid, the Amorous burlesque stylings of Dandeelyon Wine & Fluffy 10th Street, irreverent musings & observations by the lovable monster Merv, an inappropriate edition of the hit game show The Mating Game (audience participation required), and more. A fundraiser for the Vancouver International Puppet Festival.

Storytelling Championship

What: The 14th annual Vancouver Story Slam Storytelling Championship is the grand finale of the 2018 Vancouver Story Slam season. Top storytellers bring their best stories to the stage, with the winner selected by anonymous audience ballot receiving $200 cash, a large engraved trophy, and the coveted title of 2018 Vancouver Story Slam Champion. Second and third placers will receive $125 and $75.

Conan O’Brien & Friends: An Evening of Stand-up and Investment Tips

What: Conan O’Brien’s Vancouver stop will feature performances from Ron Funches (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Black-ish), Laurie Kilmartin (Conan, Last Comic Standing), Moses Storm (Father of the Year) and Flula Borg (Pitch Perfect 2, Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Christopher Titus

What: Christopher Titus is the star and creator of the Fox show, “Titus,” and has released eight ninety-minute albums in as many years. He has six one-hour comedy specials currently running on Comedy Central. His seventh special, Born With a Defect, premiered in 2017 and spent six weeks on the Billboard Top Ten Comedy Charts.

Letterkenny Live! – The Encore

What: Starring Jared Keeso (Wayne), Nathan Dales (Daryl), K Trevor Wilson (Dan), and Mark Forward (Coach), the stars of the award-winning CraveTV original series Letterkenny. The Encore tour features original sketches performed by Letterkenny favourites, additional sketches and video not seen on the original tour, as well as original stand-up sets from Wilson and Mark Forward.

What: Vancouver TheatreSports 2018 Year in Review takes an improvised look at the year’s top stories and adds a much-needed comedic perspective to prepare for the coming year.
