Nov 6 2018, 3:13 am

This morning, students from a local Vancouver school continued their annual tradition of installing poppies on the grounds of Vancouver City Hall.

Over 3,000 reusable poppies have been installed on a lawn area of City Hall at the northeast corner of the intersection of West 12th Avenue and Cambie Street.

Students from Shaughnessy Elementary School have been performing this act of remembrance every year since 2015.
