Time to raise a mug of glühwein at one of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions: The Vancouver Christmas Market.
Back once again on Queen Elizabeth Plaza, this bustling temporary alpine village will once again boast unique eats, handcrafted goods, and lots of fun for kids young and young-at-heart alike.
The Vancouver Christmas Market will run from November 21 to December 24, and will have over 50 vendors selling gift-able treats from holiday ornaments to handmade toys.
Be sure to pack your appetite, since the Vancouver Christmas Market is known for its array of traditional European and West Coast fare, from gluten-free goodies to classic sausages and Schnitzel. Of course, those of age may also want to partake in the venerable tradition of drinking the aforementioned glühwein, which is a mulled wine suitable for warming one up from the inside out on a chilly late autumn day.
Live entertainment includes all sorts of performances from choirs and carols, and of course the Christmas Carousel will once again be spinning and twinkling making the season merrier and brighter.
