Vancouver Cheap Eats: Valentine's Day Brunch

DH Vancouver Staff Feb 12, 2016 10:00 am

Romance and brunch go together like bacon and eggs (aka a match made in heaven).  And with Valentine’s Day falling on a Sunday this year, rather than the same ol’ dinner date, why not switch it up and treat your sweetie to a brunch meal that’s $10 or less?

Check out our picks in this week’s Cheap Eats roundup.

If you’re feeling sweet but your partner is feeling savoury, Yolk’s is a great compromise. Their famous Eggs Benedict starts at $7.50 and most of their sweet items are under $10, including the Belgian Waffles for $9.75.

Does your date go veg? At this East Van diner, they serve a delicious Tofu Scramble for $10. Don’t worry, there are plenty of dishes to choose from to please a carnivore, including the Sausage Breakfast Sandwich for $9.50.
