With spring in full swing, escaping to the outdoors is high on our priority list. So if you’re in need of some serious Vitamin D (and some cheap eats!), here are a few spots in Vancouver to get perfect portable picnic food for $10 or less.

The Fish Counter

At The Fish Counter (part fishmonger, part takeout joint) they serve up a delicious Cod Fish and Chip Combo for only $10.

Ba Le Deli

In addition to having some of the best Banh Mi in town, literally everything on Ba Le’s menu is under $5. Get your outdoor meal started by ordering the Grilled Pork Sandwich for $4.50; the pork is marinated in lemon grass and the sandwich is stuffed with veggies.
