Vancouver Cheap Eats: Spicy food

Jun 7 2016, 4:08 am

There are two kinds of foodies in this world: Those who love spicy food, and those who do not. If you’re the latter, this cheap eats post isn’t for you.

As for the rest of you who crave the tastebud-sizzling, sinus-clearing, mouth-burning effects of spicy food, here’s where to get your fix for $10 or less in Vancouver.

Curry Fusion

We’re kicking off this list with a cuisine that’s known for its spicy fare: Indian. At Curry Fusion, you can always expect a meal that’s blazing with flavour while only spending $9.50 on a combo deal.

Thai Basil

If you’re craving that famous Thai heat, order the Kang Daeng Sapparod for $8.50 or the Pad Thai (ask for extra spicy) for $9.95 at Thai Basil.

Wings

On the hunt for the spiciest wings? Try the sit-in deal at Wings from 2 to 5 p.m., where you can get a pound of wings for $6 when you purchase a beverage. We recommend the Bobby Wing, which has a five chilli pepper rating (you’ll be thankful you have that drink on-hand).
