As the NHL season is now underway, the NBA season’s inching closer, the Toronto Blue Jays chasing glory in the playoffs, and the CFL and NFL season in progress, you’re gonna need a place to chow down on game day for $10 or less. Here are a few Vancouver spots to score some cheap eats and cheer on your favourite teams.

Pub 340

At Pub 340, the entire menu is $8.95 or less. That includes a pound of wings, the chicken clubhouse sandwich, or even the New York steak. Pub grub at its finest.

The Cambie

For many, The Cambie needs no introduction. Located in the heart of Gastown, here fans can sit back and watch your team with the Irish nachos that go for $6.50, or the Cambie Burger for $8.75.

We all know that a plate of wings and game day go together like Henrik and Daniel. So naturally it makes sense to head to Wings, where any of their Wingerz come in 25 flavours for around $10. Game day happen to fall on a Wednesday? Build your own pasta for $8.98.

The Metropole

The Metropole defines cheap pub food. With 75 cent tacos and $7 sandwiches, not to mention their late night happy hour, you’ve got all of the essentials to kick back and watch the game.

Take advantage of Earls happy hour during game day which runs daily from 3 to 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. to close. Dynamite prawn rolls, Leroy’s crispy dry ribs, and a plate of nachos are each $10 and under.
