DH Vancouver Staff Jun 27, 2014 9:12 am

Another day, another $25 budget! Check out where Vancity Buzz and Chowmenow ate each meal for $5 or less.

Breakfast: Subway

We couldn’t pass up a 6-inch breakfast sub and coffee for just $3. Head to the Hornby location as this a.m. deal is only available for a limited time.

Lunch: Arturo’s Mexico To Go Food Truck

The Tacotino for $4.50 has rotisserie pork, lime, and chipotle sauce wrapped up in a chica flour tortilla. On colder days opt for the tortilla soup for $4.

Snack: Ebi-Ten

A great spot for a light bite, their mini rice bowl specials change daily from chicken karaage to katsudon. Thankfully no matter what they’re featuring, you can rest assured that the $3.95 price tag will remain the same.

Dinner: Vancity Pizza

Vancity Pizza

Have a donair dinner for $4 or pizza by the slice for $1.75.

Dessert: Congee Noodle House

If you don’t have much of a sweet tooth, the steamed rice roll with Chinese donut is a great option. For $3.90, it mixes the best of sweet, salty, and crunchy.
