The Bash for Bright Futures is back

Oct 18 2016, 1:32 am

On October 26, help give Vancouver kids a vital boost through a worthy non-profit.

The annual Bash for Bright Futures, hosted by The Learning Disabilities Association of Vancouver (LDAV), will celebrate over 45 years of LDAV’s success in helping Lower Mainland kids with learning disabilities. Bring your friends, family, and colleagues to this casual fundraiser and enjoy live music, food, a cash bar, door prizes, and a silent auction.

Headquartered in Vancouver, LDAV is a non-profit that aims to empower every local child with a learning disability to achieve life-long success. In partnership with the University of British Columbia, LDAV provides research-based instruction to children who struggle in school. Its specialized interventionists offer individualized support, teaching children to leverage their strengths to overcome learning challenges. In two to three years, LDAV’s programs help them be independent in the school system.

More information about the event, and how you can get involved can be found on LDAV’s website. Help spread the word by following LDAV on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn – and talking about it on social media.
