Cartems has some sweet treats available just in time for Valentine’s Day. The offerings here include a Champagne-Glazed donut with raspberry pearls and white chocolate drizzle, a Mexican Hot Chocolate variety made from chocolate batter with dark chocolate drizzle and spicy feuilletine, and lastly, a Strawberry Jelly-Stuffed donut with fondant hearts.
Cha Le Tea in Yaletown has the perfect sweet treat for that special Valentine. Head to the new tea cafe to get the Iron Goddess of Mercy oolong tea paired with Beta5’s handcrafted Valentine’s Collection which includes a medley of pink, red, and gold artisan chocolates. This duo runs for $50 and is available for purchase in-store.

Chez Christophe is back with their beautiful chocolate sculptures for Valentine’s Day. ‘Whats Knot to Love’ is a praline frangipane and a vanilla 34% Cacao Barry Zephyr whipped ganache with a heart of cassis mousse, while ‘The Garden of Love’ consists of milk chocolate mousse, raspberry coulis, and 65% Cacao Barry Haiti dark chocolate anglais topped with a chocolate cocoa crunch. Both of these offerings are available from February 12 to 14, along with the chocolatier’s famous boxes of chocolate.

For Valentine’s Day Faubourg is offering a great selection of treats at all three of its locations. Features here include a Macaron Heart Pastry, a Pink Croissant, a Lindzer Cookie, and a Heart Baguette.
French Made Baking has a wonderful selection of festive treats this year. The menu features a Large Macaron Hispahan filled with whipped ganache and fresh fruit, a Heart-Shaped Macaron in many flavours (available February 8), a Cheesecake Heart, and a Heart-Shaped Lava Cake. The bakery will also be offering Heart-Shaped Mille Crêpes, a single serving crêpe cake filled with a Ferrero Rocher-like hazelnut milk chocolate mousse covered with chocolate ganache and topped with strawberries.
