If you’re on the hunt for a unique way to give back, look no further.

UPS and United Way are holding their third annual Jet Pull in September to help move families out of poverty.

Here’s the deal: get a team of at least 15 people together and register online. Each person sets up a fundraising page that can be sent to family and friends for support, and if each team manages to collectively raise at least $750, they get to pull a 127,000 pound Boeing 757 across the tarmac at YVR.

When all is said and done, it’s a pretty cool spectacle to behold.

The best part? It’s a 100% family-friendly event, including a plane pull for kids, carnival games, a bouncy castle, tours of the UPS plane, face painting, and food trucks.

Last year, 17 teams managed to raise $40,000 for United Way, but this year’s goal is almost twice that: $75,000.

Help make it a reality.

When: Saturday, September 17; 11 am to 4 pm
