A financial education course for women is happening at UBC this month

Are you a woman who’s looking to brush up on your financial knowledge in 2019? Then a one-day educational workshop at UBC taking place this month is the ticket for you.

Now in its 10th year, Sophia Wealth Academy, n offers a full day of financial education and workshops and welcomes a dynamic community of 350 learners and 17 powerful speakers.

The event covers all the fundamentals of finance that a woman needs to know.

All ticket proceeds of the event are donated to Dress For Success, a global nonprofit organization that helps women gain financial independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools necessary to help them thrive.

The event takes place on January 26, and runs from 8:30 am to 5 pm at the UBC Alumni Centre, located at 6163 University Boulevard.
