Tsawwassen Mills featuring pop-up events and savings for May long weekend

It’s almost the May long weekend and you’re looking to have some fun.

Tsawwassen Mills has revealed that it will be hosting a series of events from Saturday, May 20 to Monday, May 22 – and it’s an occasion that you don’t want to miss. Think pop-up experiences, entertainment, food, and incredible savings –  you’ve got it all at BC’s premier shopping mall.

The best part? It’s just a short 45-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. We’ve compiled a list of some cool things you can find at Tsawwassen Mills this May long weekend.

Free Science World Pop Up

You don’t have to visit the Main Street hub to experience the magic of science because it’s coming right to Tsawwassen Mills. Visit the free live shows and informative demonstrations in the Promo Court inside Entry 3 of the mall from 12 – 5 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. This includes KEVA building activities, too.

Shopping

Treat yourself to some summer essentials over the long weekend with a spot of shopping. Experience on-trend fashion and premium brands like The Outlet by Harry Rosen, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Michael Kors Outlet, Lululemon Outlet, Designer Shoe Warehouse, and Browns Outlet. Tsawwassen Mills is definitely the perfect destination to snag the latest trends.

Savings booklet

Shopping during the long weekend doesn’t mean that you have to spend all of your pay cheque. And to help you save some money, the folks at Tsawwassen Mills are giving a free savings booklet to all shoppers. This means you’ll be able to shop at more than 35 retailers offering unbelievable discounts and promotions. All you have to do is pick up a booklet at the entrance kiosks or at Guest Services this May long weekend, and every other long weekend in 2017.

Entertainment

There’s something for everyone at BC’s premier mall this May long weekend with a kids play area, Canada’s newest indoor skatepark, West 49, and an epic marine-themed bowling alley at Uncle Buck’s which will make you feel like you’ve stepped into an aquarium.

If you work up an appetite shopping and enjoying all of the activities on offer, check out some of the eateries located at Tsawwassen Mills. Stop by Chachis for some delicious gourmet sandwiches or salads, or South St. Burger for tasty hormone and additive-free burgers. These are just two of the many places you can fill up on food after a day shopping and long weekend activities.

Parking

You don’t have to worry about finding a parking space as there are more than 6,000 available at the multiple entrances of the mall. There will be traffic control personnel assisting on the May long weekend too, so you’ll be parked up and enjoying the activities in no time.

A useful tip for getting there quickly is by turning left at the second and third turn off Highway 17 to avoid the bottleneck (past the 52nd street turn-off) – most parking lot exits are on the North side of the centre.
